I'm on the road a lot so I usually check out the music stores I see in my travels.

I recently found a 1991 Limited Edotion Gibson SG Junior at this tiny music store in Keyport. It was on the main drag. I think Broad & Front Sts. They really have junk in the store but every now and then they get something interesting.

Rondo was a good source and not only for Agile/SX/Douglas/Brice gear. I bought a MIM Fender Esquire there in the spring and they had better prices than MF.

Russo Music in Hamilton/Trenton area is THE place to be in the early spring for their annual tent sale. It's not cheap but you can get some great deals.

Musician's Workshop in Marlboro is good. Joe always treats me right.

GC in East Brunswick and in Cherry Hill are good. I only deal with the manager and a specific salesman at these stores. Most of the sales force at GC should be delivering pizzas.

Nothing New Music is good but I'll only deal with Bobby (I think that's his name). There's a guy in that store that just irks the {censored} out of me....I don't remember his name.

Pick of The Ricks is great if you want to pay more for a Rickenbacker.....Chris has some great/extremely clean stuff (worth the extra $'s)

www.chrisguitars.com is a cool guy to deal with.

The Music Zoo in Great Neck, LI (I know...NY) is another good source. Very boutique and cool people to deal with.

Robbie's on Rt 46 in the Wayne/Totowa area is great for low prices on Rickenbacker guitars. They don't have much but their prices are very good.

The Music Zone (Lakewood, NJ/County Line Rd.) is the only authorized Dr Z dealer in the area. Their inventory is nothing special except for the Dr Z's.

Stay away from Howell Music. I don't know how that guy is still in business. Just take my word for it.

Then there's the papers.

I'm hoping, for his own sanity, that he cut and pasted that from a list somewhere on his computer.

If he actually sat there thinking all this stuff off the top of his head and actually typed it out on the fly, he's a sad, sad little man.
