  1. Dude Phil, why NOW? What the hell could have prompted the mods to suddenly do away with a years-old tradition in the Amps forum? What the {censored} is going on, man?
  2. Spam threads have been a staple here forever. Dont mess with them, please.
  3. Also, not every country that the US has attacked recently can be said to have been liberated, and I dont know if any of them really asked for liberation. But hey, Grenada was a hellhole, man. You cant un-see that kind of {censored}.
  4. Originally posted by Roccaforte Amps ] those are very small numbers. I think the main point thats getting lost here, the US is the only country that has put major effort into liberating other countries. Sorry, but Canada has never come close. They have helped, but IMO it was miniscule. Uh, Europe And, if we wanted to be more specific: www.holland.com
  5. Originally posted by 17 Tubes I admitted almost as much. And you're right. I derserve some admonishment. I think you are undervaluing your benefits from the USA, and that is just my opinion. Believe me, the economic benefits are many and obviously NATO, spearheaded by the US, keeps us safe from an attack that will never happen ( ). I love my American brethren. The admin, not so much.

  7. Originally posted by Roccaforte Amps pray tell? LOL Look, this thread has taken a twist from the real issue at hand. That terrorist asshole has been clipped, and thats that. Doug PS, I do like Canada, and its people, I have lots of canadian friends. I won't insult them, but the Canadian military hasn't done {censored} to really help anyone else in the world in a very long time. Yes, and I'm glad he's dead and you'll notice I said so, and hoped the killing would decrease. But cmon, your argument doesnt hold water if you cant tell me which conflicts we should be helping in, or should have helped in. It's not confrontational, I'm just asking your opinion.
  8. Originally posted by SkidMarx oh, British. Go figure. Well, thanx for the lecture, bloke. And if you see Tony Blaire, give him a right good hug for me, won'tcha? God Save the Queen! ... lol.
  9. Originally posted by Roccaforte Amps yeah, past. So why have they stopped? hummm........... What conflicts demand our attention, pray tell? We have peacekeeping forces all around the world, including Afghanistan.
  10. Originally posted by 17 Tubes Yeah..you just let the other countries do all the work and benefit from the proceeds. You don't benefit from the well-being of the United States....correct? Yeah..you benefit, but for some reason you have a more holier reason to object to any perceived evils. You can stand back and "objectively" criticize. OHHHHhhHH! Good work!...Bravo! There have been, and ARE Canadian citizens who have give their lives for the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness....for people of other nations as well as their own. Unfortunately, Canada is even worse than the USA in honoring that sacrifice. Canada has done more than its share in the conflicts of the past and had one of the highest ratios of population to enlisted men, so please, dont try it. The only thing you guys have defended us from recently are our fair shake of softwood lumber money. Yes we benefit, of course. Doesnt mean I cant criticize the American administration.
  11. Originally posted by JamesPeters I tried calling you yesterday (by cupping my hands, putting them in front of my mouth and yelling), but you weren't home. This made me cackle so loud my mom wanted to know what was so funny.
  12. Originally posted by the russ oh yeah.. it'll be a cakewalk.. just like Iraq. Roadside hug bombs the horror of 12 canadians wanting to give you a big ol' hug..
  13. Originally posted by PlayboyChris I'm just railing on the country because I have a dim view of it. Growing up in Detroit Is it because the Detroit streets were already stock full of piss
  14. Oh yeah, and btw, when you all run outta fresh water and oil, don't come a-knockin' to the frozen wasteland. =]
  15. Originally posted by JackBootedThug Your more intellegent than that. I know, just trying to stir the pot with semantics. But it is ridiculous how much the US spends on stuff they label as "for defense".
