Members jrockbridge
I just figured out that all I had to do was inform my work to satisfy FINRA rules about charity work. I left a message on my bosses voicemail...done. So, If you guys want, I can act as treasurer. But, just so you know ahead of time, NONE of these funds can be used to purchase securities. Members cogdog
I read the threads about it, it makes me kinda ill, if that were me I would be very upset, I just checked my paypal, I've got a few bones to offer - I'll throw in $20 to help out, to help set this right, to help restore our fellow H-Cer faith in his fellow man
Members fordboy
Hey, guys--if I may...first of all, I've been a member since '05, but haven't posted alot, so I understand that I don't have alot of clout around here, however this whole turn of events warrants posting...I have to say, even w/ all the flaming & trolling I've witnessed here (people will be people), that--when help is needed by a "family" member, this place comes together like nobody's business!! I'd like to offer a suggestion--once drawdeep has his new "pretty" which he rightfully deserves, & the Epi has been repaired, how about a raffle for said Epi, with the proceeds going into the "Deserving Members" fund--Hell, w/ the membership here, even at $1 a chance, we're apt to raise alot more than the guitar is worth, & as far as the guitar is concerned, none of this B.S. is it's fault, plus it's already "famous"--no bad kharma when the proceeds are going for a good cause!! Just a thought!!

Just a thought!! And a very nice thought, but I believe raffles are specifically against the rules of Harmony Central. There are legal reasons for it. In fact, we have to make sure, that in the end, we do this by the rules of H.C.

Members aenemated
i think we should let him determine what he gets, within the price point. cuz, for me, even it was a free guitar bought through goodwill ... if it was something i wasn't particularly interested in, i'd be kinda offput by it.
