Members rock-lobster
i've fallen in love with these. i've found them the smoothest and longest lasting (in feel, sound, and looks) and, for me it's both 9's and 10's, depending on the guit-fiddle. Members csm
Slinky Top Heavy Bottom +1, but that's SKINNY Top Heavy Bottom ... When I was young and sexist in the 70s I called it the 'American Girl' set. Without an option for hybrid sets such as this (my standard string set for longer than some forumites have been alive), this poll is pointless so I'm boycotting the vote ... Members Beckenham
Slinky Top Heavy Bottom Tried those recently but didn't like them - back to 10-46. And on the poll re 14s - WTF? Is this the bass forum??

Members Carbohydrates
I'm REAL tempted to sig that to waste his bandwidth. That's what it's FOR! What the hell? No. His bandwidth is for images on his site and linking them here, referred to as image leeching, costs him money. Probably very little if it's just in one thread on a forum, but if you sig that (and I know you were probably joking), it's gonna end up costing him because it'll get a lot of exposure. It's kind of a dick move- unless you didn't know that, of course. Anyway, 10s with a wound .18 G. I don't like unwound Gs.
Members Dimetapp drinke
Depends, don't it, on the guit that they're on? On a Jazzmaster, 11's and heavy all around. No? Talk to a technician for a set up with a JM and tell them you want 9's. On most other guitars, fine. Make your choice and set up appropriately. But on the beautiful, sexy beast that is a JM - 11's.
