Members mistersully
Though I like and favor Strats. I certainly think Teles are Rock Beasts also. I just got use to the Trems being their and really prefer to have one on? Fell for this US Lonestar yesterday in Sienna Burst/Ash. Of course I bought it from a Tele player and theirs no Trem. Buy easy $5 fix. Ironic though. nice mate... sienna burst is a great finish

Members pathofspirit
Telecaster. I own 3 models - one with tele single/single, two with P90s and I'm looking at a fourth with single bridge/humbucker neck. I have a nice strat I never play. Don't really care about the quack and don't use trem. This will go towards the next tele.
Members King Loudness
I'm gonna say Strat, but tele ain't far behind.
Members Brian May
Strats, have 3 and have owned 2 Telecasters also...which I do love but if you make me pick my collection says it all.

Members chiro972
I own both and love both. I guess if I could only have one, it would be the strat. Then again a tele with a bigsby......hmmmm

Members jerry_picker
Blasphemy! Interestingly enough, he plays an obscure version of the Les Paul. The Les Paul Recording: I was pretty much flippin' sh*t...I actually play Teles and Strats, about 40% and 20% of the time, with the remainder for all manner and sorts of other divers genres... Members sxyryan
I voted tele I guess this question is really open. When I think tele and strat, I think the more traditional versions, single coils only. If you add different pups and things, this might change. For the styles I play, and as far as comfort goes, a tele is much better suited for me

Members JusSumguy
I love em both, my heart belongs to the Telecaster. But....... please don't make me choose.
Members Hubert Stumblin
I think they're two very different animals. I don't think Strats cover the Tele's ground the way many here seem to think. Strats do what they do well and Teles do what they do well.
Members Brian Krashpad
I'm a Tele guy at this point. I do try to keep a cheap Strat of some kind (currently, a Peavey USA Predator) in the stable though.
Members Willyguitar
Telecasters are better for me. I don't really bond with the in-between sounds on a strat, but like the middle pos on a tele. The pure sounds of both tele pickups for me are usually better than a strat (especially the bridge sound)... and I like the fact that it feels solid. Strats feel lighter and more sensitive to the touch.
Members ten56gibby
Tele folks unite! If Strat wins, I attribute it to the fact that it's more widely instantly recognized because if it's innumerable clones.
