Strats are DESIGNED for over-the-hill wannabe rockers.

Contour for beer belly and one to prevent wrist arthritis, vibrato bridge so you don't have to strain your fingers, a bunch of small pickups that aren't too loud, tuners all on one side so you don't Alzheimer's and forget which side does what.

You do realize I'm doing a tongue-in-cheek posting and would say the same about harley davidsons with lumbar support seats?

Damn, it's a tie!! I put over an hour on my tele today and about the same on my Stagemaster. The tele really has a lot more string tension, but it just speaks blues. I had to break out the SRV backing tracks and jam out. The Stagemaster was crunchy delicious metal all the way.
