    In general I dislike pre-damaged guitars but for some reason love this one . It must be the exception that proves the rule

    I still check in now and then but have been hanging around TDPRI most of the time. When the site was down for upgrades I wondered if it was down for good this time.

    I said a 335 with a bigsby . A Telecaster with a bigsby would be better BUT that would just be so wrong,. I'm OCD about certain things

    Everyone needs a nice semi-hollow congarts , It looks pretty nice. .

    This is probably stating the obvious but the first thing I would try is using a thin pick or playing closer to the bridge

    I’ve tried Nashville tuning. It may give the desired result for recording but makes the guitar rather useless for anything else. I would recommend using a less expensive guitar if you’re going this route

    I have a few mediocre guitars, while they are okay guitars in the long run it’s better to save your money and get what you really want.

    It seems to me that you’re trying to see how complicated you can make a simple guitar. What do you really expect to gain by choosing between north and south coils, The south might sound good but the north poles will be too far away from the strings and are not adjustable .
