Members streetknight
I just got this sage green Mexi HSS strat. I've been wanting a Big Apple strat, but can't find one I can afford, so I'm gonna just put 2 humbuckers in this one. So, I have to buy a new guard for this one, so what color would go good with the Green/Maple?
Members TheBlueStrat
Pearloid would definitely look hot on that.

Members jimwratt
I really like that color scheme actually. You might think about modding that pickguard and going HSH.
Members Faber
I like that colour also. get one the same colour but with the appropriate rout
Members streetknight
Yeah, I was digging the blue is why I got it. That may be an option too
Members pak066
mint would look best
Members CompleteGuitard
The answer is always pearloid. The blue pearloid looks pretty cool though
Members Fender Strat
Pearloid would look nice!
Members blingdogg
I think it looks pretty friggin sweet the way it is. I can't stop drooling to be honest. Don't change a thing!
Members Carbohydrates
White is the only way. That pearloid that's on it is neat, but clashes. I don't really like white pearloid, but if you do, it'd be a fine choice. I would personally just go with plain white for the color balance. Members metal0822
i saw a strat that color with a mint green guard once and its the best looking strat ive ever seen, IMO of course.
Members cratz2
I think my three first choices would be mint green, cream and parchment. In that order. And I'd probably get aged/cream pickup covers and knobs regardless of which color pickguard I went with.
Members steve_man
not a fan of that color combo at all...but I think mint green would look awesome!
Members Doctor Morbius
Parchment. I think white would look too white on that body.
Members tiltsta
white pearloid. I think anything you pick will be an improvement over the current gray/blue moto that is on there now.
Members steve_man
Parchment. I think white would look too white on that body. You should post some pics of your Strats in that color...just for reference sake...
Members VRob98
Saw one of these Sage Greens recently (a Custom Shop model) that had an anodized gold guard. Looked a great combo to me.
Members axegrinder
I think damn near anything would look good on that, including tortoise. I will vote black pearl.
Members jcm800nut
I'd go with parchment, pearloid is kinda over the top for me - too disco or something. Rout it out for h-s-h, and use two raw nickel cover hb's and a creme single coil, or go all creme pickups, and even put creme pickup rings around the hb's. Hmmm. That might be hawt...
