Members caveman
This might be a stupid question... But has anyone asked Brandi what she wants to sing? LOL, She's not the kind of woman that needs to be asked what she wants. She asked for 5 new possibilties each and with a little help from my friends I have 30 some. Members MahaloVision
Joan Osborne - particularly "Hurricane". Love the guitar. You could always do Bad Romance as mixed up on youtube with Behemoth. I'm convincing my son to do that one as part of his Pat Benatar tribute band. Members hardtdc
Sheryl Crow. Maybe "Steve McQueen", "Makes You Happy", "Superstar", "Leaving Las Vegas". And if you think you can pull it off, "Solidify", which has some killer funk guitar grooves.
Members Tidal Rhythm
She may not be up for it, but with her on vocals this number would definitely make people stop what they were doing and check out the band:

Members BryanMichael
OK- I'll give you my suggestions. 1. Dig into the Pretenders catalog. Back on the chain gang, brass in pocket, etc...2. Do "Only the Lonely" by the Motels. It's a great song that people forget they have already heard3. "Shelter" by Lone Justice4. "Voices Carry" by 'Til Tuesday (Aimee Mann)5. "Sweet Jane" (Cowboy Junkies version)6. "Time after Time" by Cyndi Lauper - check out some of her low-key acoustic versions online Those are all crowd pleasers. Members 9-Pin-Phoenix
My band has a female lead singer. It is a lot of fun. We find that most of the music we have chosen isn't originally sung by a woman. If she is open to this, check out The Offspring for newer stuff. Their songs are popular and have pretty good hooks and guitar parts. His range is actually to high for our singer! Some of the songs we do that were originally sung by a woman include:Kerosene and Gunpowder and Lead by Miranda LambertBring Me Some Water by Melissa EthridgeI Hate Myself For Loving You by Joan JettShut Up and Kiss Me by Mary Chapin Carpenter You could also look at Linda Ronstadt for some ideas.
