  1. Just another Junkie like I said who cares. People into REAL Rock 'n Roll guitar playing? Me? Thousands of other people?
  2. Every TV yellow Junior ever made is a Johnny Thunders sig....
  3. I dont deal with anybody I dont want to deal with anyway, and if they are so short sighted as to judge me on appearance, then {censored} 'em, I aint gonna lose no sleep over it. I got 4 currently, A Tribal thing on my left arm, a flaming skull on my right wrist, Some flames on my head, and an ongoing thing that is presently a big beastly head, but is intended to be expanded upon. I had a mate do them for very cheap rates, and I got 'em bold and simple, so that people could see 'em when I was on stage. I like 'em.
  4. Just out of curiousity, what do you people plan on doing when you're old and wrinkly and realize the stupid metal tattoo you got is {censored}ing stupid I'm old and wrinkly...I just got used to looking {censored}ing stupid....
  5. Regarding Edwards guitars. My Eddie, regardless of where it was made, is AT LEAST as well made, and probably better finished than my Gibson LPs...which are GOOD Gibson LP's. Therefore, I can't see the relevance of where it was made?
  6. Guitars is guitars is guitars. Some is {censored}, some is fab, and some sits in the middle. Dont matter what is writ on the top, a Squier can be the nutz, and a Gibson can be a steaming pile of poop. It's human nature to defend our lifestyle choices....even though we is often deluded....
  7. Yep, and it's producing envy in me! That's it, he MUST be working for satan on the sly .... Shouldn't he sell it all and donate the proceeds to the poor or something?
  8. The flametops shown here don't do much for me. I find that they're too uniform. I think some of the Faded LP Standards had really cool flame tops because they were all over the place. Don't know why those seemed to have much nicer tops than some more expensive Gibbys. Yeah, the natural uneveness of my LP Standards top was part of the attraction for me, though I have since tended to prefer plainer finishes.
  9. I think Page can be REALLY sloppy, and I've seen some dreadful live clips, but that doessn't take away from what he has achieved. It's all subjective anyway...you dont have to be better than someone to not like their playing.
  10. Mojo and best wishes sent...hoping for a speedy recovery and an end to your worries. Hang in there Bro.
  11. All my bands use delay to explain late arrival at gigs. "Delay in traffic" "Delay in the Pub" "Delay in getting out of bed" etc etc.
  12. I'm really enjoying my Epi Tube 10 currently. Sounds great..nice cleans, and great power amp drive. Bit loud to crank though! Got mine for next to nothing out of a 2nd hand junk shop.
  13. i LOVE this guitar. So does he! I believe theres a bit of a tale to Ravencads 375(?) , but I suspect it's not going anywhere for the forseeable future!
  14. I like that. Is that a custom made pickguard or did it come on the guitar originally? No. it is a custom guard. I originally got the model 5 as a shell, and I was going through my single bucker phase at the time, and I didn't want the other pickup. I gigged it for ages like this..I might be able to find a pic,but eventuaslly stuck the guard on. I like it, it makes it MY model 5, and I think it's now got a bit of a Squier 51 vibe going on! heres an old pic from it's gigging days:
