Members guitarkid4143
One, Master of Puppets, and Symphony of Destruction. Yes, I'm a thrash metal fanboy. The songs kinda muddled together. -gk

Members cephus
day tripper. I had to use a capo to go to the solo, though (it's in B). I still play that song. One of my favorites.
Members Railfanespee
Ticket To Ride intro. My parents had bought me a Squier Strat pack a year or so before, but it sat around for a while before I seriously made an effort to learn. One morning I was up early with nothing to do, so I got out the guitar and the Learn To Play Lennon & McCartney DVD I had, and picked an easy song. A few hours later, I had my first real riff down. It's been 5 years or so, and I've never looked back.
Members Fuelish
Can't remember....but was taught the "Mel Bay Method" back in the late '60's/early '70's .... Mary Had A Little Lamb, perhaps ???!!???

Members Hubert Stumblin
Probably the opening to Stairway To Heaven. Or the riff to Satisfaction. Or it might have been neither. Strange that I can't remember. You'd think that'd be something every guitar player would remember.
Members cratz2
First song EVER? I think Taps. I figured it out on my sister's guitar in about 3 minutes when I was about 6. After that, maybe Twinkle Twinkle... a couple Christmas songs, probably since it was Christmas. I think the first few little things I picked up that were rock-ish were Cocaine, Smoke On The Water, Iron Man... uh... I guess those were the first few.
