So basically, the opposite of U2 I think the group at the top of this heap is AC/DC. Just meat and potatoes kick a** rock & roll music. Other groups I enjoy The Donnas The Hives Airbourne Jet The Darkness How about you??? Steve Miller Band, Love & Rockets, Iggy Pop/Stooges, Bowie, Pixies, MGMT .. straight forward stuff with a nice steady beat, a bit of substance and a trippy edge.
