Members smorgdonkey
Whatever it is, it has nothing to do with Eddie being a prick or a liar...we already covered that in a previous thread.

Members Mav64
You guys are such a bunch of cynics. So you don't believe they were just tired and bit off more than they could chew? They're resting up to play next year's Super Bowl!
Members GilmourD
Didn't Rolling Stone also report incorrect information last time? I tend to take them with a grain of salt these days.

Rolling Stone is good for entertainment, not necessarily entertainment news. I'll bet the real reason for the cancellation isn't scandalous enough for that mag to bother printing. Members axegrinder
It sounds like they got their latest bank statements and concluded maybe they don't need to resume the tour so "hastily". BTW Van Halen must do a Superbowl halftime show... and this would seem the perfect time to book them.

Members Alecto
Can't say I'm surprised. Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony are probably laughing their asses off right now: [video=youtube;ud6e3uG5vUA]
Members fragglerick
I might be stating the obvious but, as soon as they "postponed" the summer dates I knew that there were issues behind the scenes and that the tour was done. I'm just glad I got to see them.
Members straycat113
I love the line the band members hate each other lmfao. You have two brothers closer than twins and Ed's son, if anyone is being hated it would only leave Roth. They made a damn good album and Ed proved he is still king and looks as healthy and fatter than ever as well as the tour was selling out everywhere and was a huge success so there must be more to why the plug was pulled besides the guys behind the grassy knoll. They will be back!
Members *BLEEP*
Now that this has come to fruition, Van Hagar will prolly announce a world tour real soon.
Members bubkus_jones
Now that this has come to fruition, Van Hagar will prolly announce a world tour real soon. Doubt that. Hagar's got Chickenfoot. Then there's the whole "Who's gonna be on bass" question. I doubt Hagar would rejoin without Michael Anthony, and I doubt Eddie would be OK with Wolfgang sitting on the sidelines (especially if it's true that Wolfgang was the driving force behind the album/tour). Members soundcreation
once again....I don't give a {censored}..... They put out a fantastic album that kicks major {censored}ing ass in my opinion. The "entertainment tonight" speculation of the inner workings don't change that. Members jjpistols
They should do a Super Bowl show, or a charity event of huge stature, with both Roth and Hagar doing a couple hits each, Anthony in the line, and then hang it up forever. Forever.
