I don't understand that. I just Fed Ex shipped a guitar in a hardshell case, insured for $1,700 and it was only $29. Pretty heavy box, too. My shipments rarely exceed $35, even across the country and insured. Bummer about you not shipping. I've been really interested in that PRS you are selling, but I'm in NM and I read the part where you said you won't ship. I have used both and have paid up to $50 to ship with them,and if my box is over size they charge more. I am amazed you got $1700 of insurance for $29 let alone ship a guitar also. I did just ship a Squier 51' for $20 with USPS with DC but I spent $15.00 for packing

I wouldn't say I was ever a fan, but I had a friend whose mom was big into the PMRC and she took us to see them on the To Hell With The Devil and she bought me that album for Christmas. I haven't listened to any of that since maybe 1987 or so but I remember really liking the song 'The Way'. This pic is one of the USA models, isn't it? the MIJ models have chrome hardware, don't they? Well if that is the case I am wrong,I have a MIA Charvel coming. I just looked at my purchase and it doesn't state which country of manufacture it is. I just assumed for the deal I got on a new 1 it had to be the MIJ:thu: I will know for sure in a couple days:lol:

I am awaiting 1 now My bud has been bugging me to sell him my Swede since I got it over a year ago. Finally I broke down and let him take it and got my project Ibby I sold him back and a Squier 51' which I sold and bought an MIA Strat and was going to buy a SG or LP of some sort but I couldn't IMO pass up a brand new 1 for $550. My new Strat comes today and the Charvel should be here Saturday or Monday & I am going to decide which I like better and trade 1 for a SG or LP maybe

a little more history is they use to import Gibson's in the 50's and then he decided to make guitars(they already made many other top quality instruments) and by the early 60's the Swede and others were produced. So it's not like his designs are new cheap crap but probably 1 of the better copies. I haven't had a Tokia or Agile or played 1,same with the Hagstrom since I don't have a local store that carries them,heck I'm luck to find a Gibson or Epihpone.Mainly Ibanez or Fender,Bc Rich at the stores here. http://www.albinhagstrom.se/

I just got mine a couple days ago,sweet guitar IMO. Way better than my old Squier;) I haven't had a lot of guitars or played long,I took lessons in high school (mid 80's) & had a Kramer then. The finish is amazing,my pics blow & my amp hasn't come yet so as for sound all I have is my RP100a and i won't judge it thru that.The sound clips on the site sound terrific! Mine has 2 custom Alnico 60's,same as the deluxe.
