Here's my ugly '79 Antigua strat that's been thru way too many smokey hellholes in NYC area, a workhorse.

Man Leftyaxeman, that's a really cool but VERY different Antigua color . It almost looks like a blue color. Is that how it looks in person?
Just wondering.

Yes, that's how it appears in person, the picture doesn't show all the hairline cracks in the finish that appeared over the years, but it still sounds great.

I like my old 1957 Gretsch 6120. It's in near mint condition and I have the strap and cowboy case. The lack of all the stupid cowboy stuff combined with the cool inlays they only did that year and the pickups (my fav for the Gretsch) make it the coolest one IMHO. Plus these were made in America and Duane Eddy and George Harrison played this year 6120.

The 1965 Mosrite Ventures model is another one I really like. This are super cool guitars and I dig them because I grew up listening to The Ventures and they're a really original design.

And we should probably throw a near mint 1966 Jazzmaster with all the trimmings in to complete the BG76 list (which is full of stuff that HCEG is thinks is garbage). I know the '66 is technically a CBS guitar, but I like the binding on the neck and this one fit into my new criteria for buying stuff in that it was cool and in very good condition.
