Members kpd78 Posted October 28, 2009 Members Share Posted October 28, 2009 here goes... i started playing guitar in the early/mid 90s. for years all i really used was a Rat 2 and a DOD VibroThang (i still have the Rat, and have re-bought the VibroThang after selling it a couple of years back). i picked up the odd pedal here and there (Boss DS-2, DOD Flanger, Sovtek Big Muff which i used occasionally) and an E-Bow (which i still have). in the early 2000s i added an EHX Small Stone (still have). things went downhill ( ) when i joined HC in 2006... quite quickly i ended up with this board (and most of the pedals listed above)... i had a Box of Rock for a little while too, but it didn't really work well with my amp at the time. (BYOC Tremolo, a 2nd Rat 2 which i heavily modded.) a few additions/minor changes and by October 2007 i had this: a month later and the DE7 was gone and replaced by a DM-2, and i had acquired a (then popular) Crunch Box: i got sick of the Semaphore pretty quickly and put my BYOC Trem back on; there weren't many changes for a few months. May 2008: (Crunch Box and Mayo departed, EQD Hoof in.) then i sold the Timmy and Hoof, and was using an OD-3 for a while. pretty soon after that, i got lucky on ebay a few times and picked up an Empress Trem and Barber LTD for less than half price, and added an SMMw/H: this period was probably the height of my pedal-buying/trading and my collection grew considerably (thanks in part to some more ebay bargains - Tremulator, Throbak ODB, Micro POG, EQD Disaster Transport) ... notable changes: OUT: Empress Trem, Barber LTD, DM-2 IN: DM-3 and PN-2, Headrush December 2008: i started to get bored by 'boutique' pedals around this time and sold most of them... i did pick up a few bargain Colorsounds around this time, and a Guyatone Touch Overdrive (which is pretty much my favourite pedal now) and would switch my pedals around regularly... i also picked up a super rare DOD Stereo Reverb and a second PN-2... Added Graphic Fuzz, made a GGG TB loop pedal Added BYOC Chorus Made a little TB loop pedal, refinished the BYOC Chorus. Took the Graphic Fuzz off the board for about 20 minutes.
