This is probably easiest if I do it by my age at the time...

When I was about 13 I had a Boss DS-2 > Zoom 505 II.

This is from when I was about 15 or 16:

I owned quite a lot of pedals at this point. Now I just sell anything that I don't use.

This is what my friend and I shared while doing our HSC performances:

since then i've been regularly going with minimal set-ups such as this:

Then for much of 2011 I didn't really use a board at all, I just used whichever pedals I wanted on any given day.

This is my small/travel board evolution. It split into two different boards when I got the Pedal Power.

It should be noted none of these decisions were influenced by forums which is in sharp contrast to my electric/big board set-up...

(forgive the descriptions, this was originally posted on tumblr - I know you all know what a BD2 is... facepalm.gif)

AC3 (Acoustic Sim) -> BD2 (Overdrive) -> GE7 (EQ) (Newfoundland, circa 2005 I think)

Tuner -> DD7 (Delay) -> RC2 (Looper) (Halifax, winter 2011)

Tuner -> DD7 -> Holy Grail (Reverb) -> RC2 (Vancouver, winter 2011)

Tuner -> Keeley (Boost) -> Holy Grail -> Empress (Tremolo) -> DD7 -> RC20xl (Looper) (Toronto, spring 2011)

Tuner -> DD7 -> RC20xl -> RC2 (York, UK, spring 2011)

Very cool thread Stu. I have to see if I can find some old pics...

Thanks. I always enjoy seeing the progression of boards here... cool to see what direction different people go with. Now that there are so few people posting here you won't see a BOTB's thread so this is a good substitute! :)

My signal goes from the guitar to : ( not pictured ) a Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster, a Boss GE-7 band EQ, VHT Valvulator, Digitech RP-12, Digitech RP-1 ( in the effects loop for solo boost : Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster, MXR 10 band EQ, Hush Pedal, BBE Stomp Sonic), Hush II, VHT Valvulator.

Then it goes through this to Rack #1 ; ETA power conditioner, BBE 462, Hush 2CX, two DOD 31 band EQ's, Hush, Behringer 1124 Feedback Destroyer Pro ( Parametric reasons) and a another BBE 462 to Rack # 2 : Monster 2500 power conditioner, Channel A of both the Rocktron Super C and BBE 362 goes to the front plug of the Digitech 2112 and Channel B goes to the effects loop of the 2112.

This gives me studio perfect sound on stage ( minimizing the need of a soundman) and gives me great sound while recording or practicing.
