That plus, that Juno-106 in his studio, he bought it from me. It was the first one I refurbed last winter. Was he warned before being banned? You'd think after 6,400 posts, one wouldn't be banned for a single image. Delete the image and send a warning, sure. But bans, especially permanent ones, shouldn't be the first course of action against a member who's been contributing to the forum for so long. IMHO of course. That is why he actually "calmed down" in here with his graphic content. So it was not something not-expected at all. I think spammers (the kind who register and then post actual spam, like "shoes for sale" or "unlocked iphones") should be perma-nuked even more so than "suicide pron bombers". But then I have zero regard for spammers. As an admin on another forum, few things give me more satisfaction than giving a nummnut spammer the boot (and then I ban their IP block as well!) It seems to me that there should be a level of purgatory, where you can pm, but not post to forums, so that you can at least plead your case, or communicate with other members, etc. The real fix is to allow individual sub forums control over bans rather than bans having to apply to all forums.
