dude.. i just had the best idea for an art film. it'd be like the lottery, except people are kicking an effigy of bush in the crotch.. and at one point the effigy falls over and it's hat rolls to the ground, and an old guy picks it up, puts it on and is like 'look yall, i'm a president.." while in the back ground the effigy is seen crawling away.. sweet.

So I guess it's not enough that Obama won by a landslide. It had to happen that the people who won now want to characterize everybody who didn't vote for him as a bunch of racists. Some people will never be happy, I guess. were not saying that, although the loudest ones are proving themselves to be bigoted, angry, hate and fear mongers, or sore losers if you will. Most of mccains rallies have been embarrassing for Americans in general with the large amounts of negative audience participation. and again, most of the states mccain carried could be classified traditionally as the heartland of america, which comes with it the quiet stigma of racism. there's plenty of people that don't fall into those groups that did vote for mccain, they're just unequally represented.

it could be a cultural thing.. one of the great ironies of our culture is that people will drive around in a jacked up pick up truck made in mexico and vote someone into office that will ship blue collar jobs overseas while claiming to be the last bastion of american values.

BBC News has a cool map that will let you resize the US according to population and the differences about where most americans live becomes obvious.

Sometimes compromise and cooperation is NOT the answer.
