Motif ES: volatile sequencer memory, sloooooooooooooow sample loading

legend has it that acid house was inspired by the volatile sequencer memory on the tb303, that the song "acid trax" by Phuture is based around the random sequence the unit generated after being reset.

For the D6 I'm fine with it going down to 'F'...The D6's actual range starts an octave higher than the lowest note on the electro 73.

Its for the Rhodes and CP70 that I take issue with it.

True, but you got the octave shift button and plenty o' keys...do you really need to play the uppermost keys? Just shift it down an octave. I've been using an Electro 61 (had the 73 too) for 6+ years and preferred the 61 version since I use it for Hammond clone duties (as well as clav, wurly, rhodes) and I like having the C-C keyboard for muscle memory purposes doing organ stuff.
