Bought a condo in Sept of 2000 in Santa Monica with 5 other investors. It's been up up up and down. Plan to keep it till this all works out and she moves way up again. I come out all the time and check on it. I enjoy the 3rd st. prominade. Were right off of Colorado. Stay at Lowes on the beach by the pier. Depend where you are at. Riverside....oh gosh...smogg city....I jog at Runyon Park up clear to the top to look out over the LA basin. Griffeth Obser. is nice. I'm from Vancouver. Vancouver has its terribly ugly sides too, and I love living in L.A. Have you even been to L.A.? I honestly don't get why people that have predominantly little experience with L.A. feel the need to chime in about how much it sucks. Going to disneyland or passing through LAX en route somewhere else doesn't cut it. Frankly I think most of you are kidding yourselves, Socal is WAY nicer IMO than anywhere else I've been to in the US, and I've been to a lot of different states. My roommate freshman year in college always talked about how {censored}ty LA is compared to OC and I asked him what parts of LA he has been and he said on the way to the Staples Center or Dodger Stadium. PLUS i have day job that most guys would die and make enough money to fuel my GAS. i work for a porn company where i regularly see big name porn starlets standing 10 feet from me totally naked. plus i can wear whatever the hell i want. i love Texas but, L.A. definitely has a few perks!
