Members Sheik_Yerbouti
I wish he would drop the blues, and go all out guitar hero. Because he has some really good touch, phrasing and interesting hooks. http://www.guitarnoize.com/blog/comments/jason-bonham-joe-bonamassa-and-glenn-hughes-form-black-country/
Members Ron Burgandy
I don't listen to Joe B much but it was on my DVR last night. And yes, mainly for his LPs and amplifiers. The music is rather pedestrian middle aged blues. No question, which is why I don't buy his CDs.

Very interesting. Blood of the snake is a cool album. The title track is just stunning.
Members JBecker
I have no complaints about "Blues Deluxe" and "If Heartaches Were Nickels...". I mean JB just kills it on those tracks (and I know one is a cover).
Members BerkleeBill
{censored}ing this! Joe is {censored}ing awesome. Killer playing and monster tone... Comes from Joe running the MVs on his 100wt amps on "8" (always)
Members Ron Burgandy
Comes from Joe running the MVs on his 100wt amps on "8" (always) Why doesn't he just get a Snax and skip the 4 amp rig? I mean, they're spot on, no?
Members co&cafan808
I saw him a while back and he does play {censored}ing loud!!! His show is amazing, he's the definition of a profesional guitar player and musician.
Members RaceU4her
Really awesome playing and tone. I'm a big Bonamassa fan but my problem with him is his songs really. Beyond a few gems, I find a lot of it quite forgettable for some reason my feelings are kind of the same, the songs and album are kinda boring and his singing sucks but he drops some solos like at 3:35 here that are some of my favorites ever
Members draelyc
It's really childish & cynical of me, and more than a tad selfishly egotistical, but I love threads like this about guitarists/musicians who really are great at what they do, because there are always at least a few folks who can't stand 'em, find 'em boring and/or annoying, or say they just plain suck. And that makes me think, "Hey, if there are people who say that even about *this* guy, then I feel a LOT better about my own playing/singing/songwriting!" Members Larry the Dog
That dude is pretty good. I wonder if he was teached by DJ Chrispy. Bonamassa wishes.
Members jhall
I'm not knocking it, it's a good band and all that, but I just don't get it. It sounds very pedestrian to me. The scary thing is, there are enough bald, middle-aged, failed guitarists in this country to fill the Albert Hall. Let's see your version!! I must be easily amused because I was entertained by that. A little pretentious mabye but that's Rock-N-Roll attitude for ya.

Members tele62
I was at that Albert hall gig, best atmosphere of any concert I've ever been to, once-in-a-lifetime for sure. That said, lately I'm finding some of Joe's stuff a little bit repetitive and....well, tame. Sometimes the vocals work great but often they don't. I'm really hoping Black Country Communion will strip things back a bit, the same way Chickenfoot brought out the best in Satch. No more white boy blues, just ballsy rock and roll. Seriously his concerts have a great atmosphere you don't have to deal with {censored}ing dumbass retards just musicians and laid back fans. One of the most enjoyable shows I've ever seen. Members Sheik_Yerbouti
{censored}, I had no idea a single was out already! Damn, I actually really dig it, but I'm already predisposed being a big fan of everyone in that band! Sounds a bit like some of Glenn's earlier solo stuff. They've got my money! Members FastRedPonyCar
I love JB. I think he has the best blues tone on the planet. I got the albert hall DVD a few months ago and loved it. My wife liked Opeth's round house DVD a lot more though Oh I almost forgot but not really... Opeth, albert hall... my DVD preorder is paid!! Members jimijam
Albert Hall has the killer tones! Joe B. wails on there but I kind of wish he played less blues and rocked out more. I would not mind seeing him live so I can hear some cranked out amps & LP goodness.
