Members Cliff Fiscal
I've got 3 nice amps, but they're basically single channel amps. What's a nice 2 channel amp that doesn't compromise tone on either channel? Don't exactly need Fender cleans and Marshall dirty tones, but it always seems like one or the other suffers. Members tlbonehead
Get an amp with 2 true channels, not shared EQ, etc. It makes a lot of difference.
Members guitarbilly74
Carvin... Legacy, X100B, etc... all have nice OD channels and great clean tones. Also Mesa DC and F series, Peavey Classic/Ultra series, Marshall DSL etc etc So basically, a {censored} ton of amps have that.

Members chrispsullivan
Fender Tone Master. Fender cleans and Marshall dirty tones. No. The Tone Master is totally kick ass but there is nothing Marshall about the overdrive channel on this amp.

Members grunge782
Tons of amps out there, but I've been most impressed so far by a Baron's clean and distortion channel.
Members timmyfirst
I liked my old Orange AD30HTC Two properly indepedent channels. Not masses of gain or volume from either channel but good all round tones. Really sensitive to pre-amp tube choice aswell and with their only being 2 pre-amp tubes per channel its a great amp to experiment with and actually hear the difference between tubes. Members Cliff Fiscal
Had many 2 channel amps in the past, including the AD30HTC.......that is one amp I really wanted to love, but could never get along with. No real cleans to be had. the gain seemed really fuzz and indistinct.
Members Cliff Fiscal
I am digging the {censored} out of my Mesa F-50. Amazing clean and the dirt channel goes from mild to wild. I've been very interested in Mesas recently, for this reason. The Tremoverb gets a lot of good press here, but heard Ricky Bobbys demo of the cleans.........not impressed. For reference, I'm playing through mostly a JTM45 and Super Reverb for clean tones, and using pedals for dirt. Which isn't terrible........but my pedalboard just keeps growing. I will bust out my Zoom Q3 this weekend and make some vids not that I got my 1x12 wide body cab to go with it. Played for like an hour after work last night at stage volume. This amp makes me smile. I finally bought another but the second one had a noticeable gap when changing channels. But in terms of tone, they're killer amps, one of my favorites, if I could find another one at a good price and without the channel switch gap (not all of them have that) I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Members benjamin801
Any of the Mesa "Caliber" series would fit this bill, and they're pretty reasonable on the used market. .50 Caliber or .50 Caliber +Studio 22 or Studio 22 +Dual Caliber (DC) 2, 3, 5, or
