Members mike.sartori
This was my summer project pretty much - Swamp ash body & maple/rosewood neck from warmoth, paint from reranch.com hardware from callaham guitars pickups are seymour duncans, everything else came from stewart macdonald. Members mike.sartori
That's real interesting, not something you see every day. COngrats, looks like a lot of planning went into it. DOes it sound a like a strat at all? It sounds like a great strat. The wiring is a bit unique, warmoth couldn't rout for a 5-way blade, so it has a 6-way rotary, 2-6 are the same as any strat (neck, neck mid, mid, mid bridge, and bridge.) but position 1 is the middle pickup with a separate tone cap, like the original neck position on a 52' tele. It's a real dark fat sound. Otherwise, it's real traditional and it sounds great!

Members larryguitar
I have to admit, if you'd described it I would have winced. But it really, really comes together in those photos! The essence of a 'custom' guitar; taking something nobody else ever thought of, and making it reality. Well done!
