Members ashtray
Pulled the trigger on the 60s Reverse Strat. A bit surprised it's not sold out yet! I guess it's too "different" for many people. Personally, I like vintage frets, and the small neck radius should give it a great vintage feel as well. It should sound and feel nothing like any of my other strats. (and that's a good thing - variety!) Will post review on the pickups, neck, etc once it arrives in 5-7 business weeks. I would try to talk them down if going inperson to Guitar center by 75-100 dollars If not here is what is avail online 1. Music123.com currently has the 50 dollars off of 250 or 100 off of 500 2. Guitarcenter.com has this going http://gc.guitarcenter.com/instant-online-rebates/?coupon=aff50 Up to 70 bucks off. 3. musicians friend mailed this last week out to their mailing list Get up to $40 off your next order with our coupon "MF40." Expires 2/8/2008 http://www.musiciansfriend.com/40off I would choose neither. I best deals can be found at MF or Music123 right now on Tacoma acoustics. Members Facemelt
Umm.. that post was cut and pasted from somewhere else. I didn't even write it..OK, then somebody out there really likes you because the vast majority of your deal links are from pay links that simply redirect to the actual link. So someone is making money off of them. Not that I am complaining. Doesn't cost me anything to click on the link and it takes me straight to the correct site without any sidetracking but it is what it is..... an advertising link that gets someone paid every time it is clicked on.Anyways, like I said before, a good deal is a good deal so.... Members Highway_61
It seems odd that new members with very few posts are entering the dialogue by voicing harsh criticisms of, first, DCinDC, whose forum reputation is beyond question, and now, RothnRoll, whose posts have seemed, to me, to be only altruistic, not self-serving. Members dmckean44
Goingtoday.com has the Angus Young Sig humbucker for $99 + $5 shipping.Looks like MF sells them everyday for $144.Angus Sig bucker While this may be true, it's still just a regular passive guitar pickup and costs $3.00 to manufacture at most. Please go through this entire thread, which has been posted for more than a month, and find another complaint about overposting. Members dmckean44
Great Deal on a Jackson SLSMG...usually like 800+ I think.http://www.daddys.com/used/?itemnumber=JAC5907I'd get it but too metal for me. This ended up being misrepresented. It was not an SLS MG. It was one of their cheap bolt-on copies. A DXMGT I believe.

Leave. On topic: That's a good deal for a good pickup. More interesting is that site, have you been watching it for a while? Are their deals usually any good? I've seen sites like that for snowboarding gear and clothing, but this is the first one I've seen for music stuff. Good find.
