Members H8UGUYS
Anything by Johnny Thunders (Heartbreakers, NY Dolls). Paranoid and other Sabbath albums from around that time. The early Social D stuff is a mix of humbuckers and P-90's-I've seen really old footage of Mike Ness with old SG Juniors (he had a white one and a red one I think). I think he went through alot of different guitars in the old days. Some of the other SoCal punk bands of that time had SG Juniors-Circle Jerks, TSOL and probably some others. Members Burningleaves
Lots of the Beatles stuff. Most "classic" Chuck Berry tunes. Lots of WHO material. P-90's (imo) are that classic Rock N' Roll sound.

Members Alecto
- Definitely Social Distortion, on Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell, White Light, White Heat, White Trash and Sex, Love and Rock n' Roll. I'd very surprised if you didn't like them, Ratae. - Chuck Berry's pre-1958 singles. - Mountain "Missisippi Queen." - Rolling Stones: Any recent (1980's and beyond) live performances of "Sympathy for the Devil." Keef uses a Junior on that one. - Beatles mid-period. Paul's leads on "Ticket to Ride" and anything else he did on "Rubber Soul." George, John and Paul all had Casinos by Revolver: the twin lines on "She Said, She Said" and Paul's solo on "Taxman" come to mind. John used his P-90 equipped Casino for most of his later Beatles output (the plain one). - Mick Jones with The Clash. I'm going out on a limb and saying it's likely stuff like "Lost in the Supermarket" and "Train in Vain."

Members spoonie g
I've got a 69' sg special. It sounds awesome, but seems it takes some serious technique and eq'ing to get it to sound how i want. It definitely sounds different from all the new gibsons ive played. Members H8UGUYS
Yeah, alot of that early Clash stuff is a Les Paul Jr, Mick Jones played one. (Joe Strummer played a Tele, but you can barely hear it on alot of that stuff.)Paul Westerberg played an Sg Junior in the early days of the Replacements, and I've seen some later pictures of him with a Les Paul Special. Bob Stinson usually played humbucker-equipped guitars I think, but much like Social D, they probably went through alot of different guitars in the old days. Members samuraiBSD
Alkaline Trio's latest material was done largely with a Les Paul Junior Lots of Chuck Berry's stuff was done with P90s Don't quote me on it, but I think I read somewhere that Bayside uses a lot of P90 guitars
Members tlbonehead
Lots of Mick Taylor era Stones. Gin Blossoms, Tonic, the COMFORTABLY NUMB solo(although it sounds like Dave's pedalboard, not a P90 guitar)FAST CARS AND FREEDOM. Many old jazz classics. Everything by George Thorogood.
