Moderators Ratae Corieltauvorum Posted August 9, 2017 Moderators Share Posted August 9, 2017 Growing up in Ireland where they have both country and western, he was part of the soundtrack of my youth, RIP sir, and enjoy your trip down to Wichita one last time. God bless On another note, anybody get the feeling that Alzheimers and dementia are the new enemy alongside cancer?

Members Emory
Friend posted this on Facebook, highlights of Glen's picking ability. Note Ovation 12 string electric behind the head towards the end.

Members Axisplayer
Great playing of course. I really like the Ovation Breadwinner guitar at 3:22. Wanted one back then. Loved his display at the Country Museum Hall of fame. I also loved the songs he did with John Hartford on banjo. Here he is with another of my all time favorite people... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gvjleznMn4&sns=fb
Members bluesmann
I never realized Glen could really play till I saw him and George Benson on one of those variety shows they used to have so long ago. Glen and George. if I remember correctly, were jamming on the song on Broadway. I've looked for that video several times with no luck so far. They both were ripping on guitar solo's. Its a shame they don't have those kinds of variety shows any more. It was a special time in Television history, no doubt about that. Glen and the boyz have already been greatly missed. This vid make me a little emotional.
