Members fuzztone
I got this used at Guitar Center. It is a 2011 R9 with Gloss finish the price was marked down to $2899 because it didn't have the original case or COA.

Members DeepEnd
Congratulations and Happy New Guitar Day. I've always had a soft spot for Les Pauls and that one is a beauty.
Members Grant Harding
Wow! That's a nice guitar. How can they sell an expensive axe like that without a custom case? How did you get it home?

Members *BLEEP*
I got this used at Guitar Center. It is a 2011 R9 with Gloss finish the price was marked down to $2899 because it didn't have the original case or COA. There's a *very* decent chance that's actually a new guitar (new, as in never owned by anyone), but was a display / demo item. GC occasionally sells new items as "used" whenever it's appropriate. By the way, if the above is indeed correct, you still won't have a Gibson factory warranty. That's one of the reasons why the price is lower than normal. Members badpenguin
Bleep, I think that if he contacts Gibson, sends a copy of the receipt, serial number and all that, they can send him a new COA. but Gibson's warranty goes something like this..."We guarantee it's a guitar." BTW fuzz, BEAUTIFUL beastie!!!!!

Members fuzztone
I called Gibson today and they confirmed that it is real. Apparently the finish is VOS so someone must have polished it to a glossy finish.
