Members HeatherAnnePeel
Have 6 in the collection (Dots, SGs, Les Pauls) and I really love 'em. The Empress has spoken. Here's mine:

Members smorgdonkey
I think that they are excellent to just lean up against a door to hold it open. I also used one to keep some old burlap from blowing away in the yard a while back - it did a great job for 3 days and it even rained really hard one day. Anyway, it held it there until I could put it all in the proper receptacle for disposal.
Members epi56ebony
Per my handle, when MF blew out the Epiphone Black 1956 Goldtops I bought one and boy it was a real winner. Love it and still have it. I also collect 56 reissue guitars (just bought the Danelectro 56 guitar in white and bass in black from the MF sale). Unlike a lot of Epi's this guitar required no set up and had no issues. Great guitar. The Slash Goldtop Epi is nice as is my natural Casino. Members Mav64
I too have had an epiphany that Epiphone's are mighty fine instruments indeed. Own two...
Members SrMeowMeow
Today is happy new first Epiphone ever day for me! I just called my landlady and she put it in my apartment after it arrived earlier this afternoon. In an hour I'll be probably having sex with it. Members DavidMgT
An Epi was good enough for me..for a while. I had an Epi Elitist Lp Standard which was a very good guitar until I got a Hamer Studio Custom. I still, however kept the Epi as it had that great LP vibe. I then got an R8 for just a hair under $2K and, for me at least, it was "bye bye Epi" While I will likely never get an Epi again - I had their best and it paled in comparison to my Hamer & Gibson - I still think that their guitars are good enough for just about any player. Members cratz2
LOVE mine both of mine! Both are older, Korean-made jobbies, and both have upgraded pickups, tuners and nuts, but they rock me when the moment is right.

Members PunkKitty
I have a Dot Studio that I just love. It's all mahogany so it's too dark sounding for jazz. But add overdrive to it and it just screams. It plays as well as my Gibson Les Paul. I even kept the stock pickups. But I switched the magnets to alnico 4. What a great guitar. Members GAS Man
I've enjoyed them. The list below is from my inventory spreadsheet in chronological order. I think my biggest bang for the Epiphone buck so far has been my Epiphone worn '66 Wilshire. Its mini-hums aren't too bad sounding. Members chqtarzan
My first electric guitar was a MIK Epiphone LP std. Actually I've never been satisfied with it though it was better than me. Recently I've been lucky, except for this MIK Sheraton I found in pawnshop that smoked all the five or six Gibson semihollows (335, satin 335, 339, cs336) I played, I also found a 03 MIK SG that has 1 piece body in another pawnshop. Members Geeter
This is the first time in a long time that I do not have an Epi in the stable, but I bet that situation doesn't last long.

Members benzem
Epiphones? Never heard of 'em. They are very decent axes. Not as good as MIJ replicas (not near)...but VERY decent.
Members Muddslide
The only epiphone I currently have is a bass, but it's a damn decent bass. I used to have a 60s-era Epiphone acoustic that was a boomy killer.
Members Deadbeat Son
I had one once. It wasn't a bad guitar with the upgraded Rio Grande pickups and Grover tuners.
Members PunkKitty
Listen up EG! This guy is good...yes better than you..and speaks the truth! I have played a few that back up his claims!....A Dot that was f'n amazing! and a SG that sang! The Dot opened my eyes to the great tones that a semi-hollow can provide. I ended up with a (lucky) 1981 AS200 semi that I treasure. Umm... Heather is a woman. Get it right.

Members EricJohn
You know...I've hung out on other forums where there is quite the pecking order when it comes to Les Paul owners. {censored}...even someone who owns a $2000 Classic is on the bottom of the totem pole compared to those dudes with R7, R8 and R9 Les Pauls. I've had a few Epiphones in my life and they're all fantastic guitars that play very well. They've taken care of that squealing, microphonic feedback the pickups used to have and the Grover tuners work great. Some of the best guitars for the money.
