Members benzem
The thing about Epis (and Squiers), is that they generally offer a lot of bang for the buck. Of course, Gibsons and Fenders are made using better materials, parts and craftsmanship (no debating that here), but with a decent set-up, and a few tweaks/mods, if desired, an Epi is a great guitar. And an affordable one. I just think they have really gotten very good over the years - their versions of higher-priced Gibsons. I am not talking about the earlier Epi models, which were stellar in their own right, and now incredibly vintage. However, for working musicians on a budget, newer Epis represent a great value. Yes, mostly. But a few years back I accompanied my bandmate to buy an epi semi. I was really unimpressed with the sharp frets and shotty workmanship. But, back in '99 a friend had a stellar DOT that I loved! About a '95. Opened my eyes to the semi and it's big rock tones.

Members Muddslide
ES-295 I've GASsed for one of these off and on for years. I've pretty much conquered guitar GAS, but if the reissued these, I might have to jump on one.
