Members Dr. Scottie C
I realize the some are fans of both, some are fans of neither....and some prefer one to the other.....But if you were stuck in an elevator for 36 hours, and blasting through the 2 speakers above your head was either the complete Stones catalog, or Beatles catalog.....and silence wasn't an option.....which would you choose? Members bee3
Beatles. They've just had an enormous musical influence on my life. When I was a kid, driving around in the family truckster with my dad, it was always Beatles.
Members primal1
I'm not big on either, but I'd probably rather listen to the Stones. There's a few songs by them I really like, and the rest I can tolerate. The Beatles, on the other hand, have a few songs I can't stand.
Members Pine Apple Slim
Beatles. Much more variety. Stones had some good tunes but more of the same for the most part.

Members jpnyc
Stones. The Beatles may have done a lot more in terms of variety but they got self indulgent after a while.

Members SamRussell
Probably the Stones. I like the Beatles songs, but not when they're playing them (I prefer covers...), the Stones I can at least deal with them playing their own music
Members slvrsrpnt
Beatles all day long. Not many bands would lose the vs The Stones poll.

Disagree...while the Beatles are force to be reckon with.....There are alot of musicians, and non-musician music fans that would choose the Stones catalog over a vast majority of others. The Beatles have outsold every band by a long shot.... Queen, Floyd, Zep & AC/DC are the only bands on par with the Stones in terms of sales.....needless to say, Mick & Keef have some fans out there. Members Surrealistic
If I HAD to choose one it'd be the Beatles, no contest. If I had to choose one album though, it'd be a tough choice and a few Stones' albums would be in there with a fighting chance - Exile on Main St, Beggars Banquet, Sticky Fingers come to mind
Members Bucksstudent
I'm surprised no one's called me out for my post about the Stones. Usually, not at any particular place, someone tries to school me on something.
Members Mr.scary96
Rolling Stones. Their career outlasted the Beatles by quite a few decades!. But in the same sense the Beatles sold billions of records from a 10 year span together
