Members christianatl
So after watching that Nels Cline Rig Rundown (again), I have decided that I must possess a Fuzz Factory. Members rileykill
Hell yeah. Here's mine. There are almost too many possibilities. That's the problem with this pedal.

Members erksin
I think it's one of the coolest fuzzes ever made. It certainly makes you play differently if you're open to it. Do want.
Members rileykill
Oh man. Some of the settings w glitchy decay. Teh awesome.
Members erksin
My fave was when I set it up for a Mk.1 Tonebender style rip that decayed into a smooth but random oscillation - I got lost in that sound for a good hour. Truly one of the greats.

Members juri
Where is Waterloo? It's the best record store on the planet. Austin was called Waterloo before it was renamed after Stephen F. Austin. They are seriously expanding their vinyl selection.
Members christianatl
I think our EP is sold out. They may repress when we release our full-length record. Dunno. More importantly
Members manymanyhaha
Having owned an early "Aughts" Fuzz Probe (which is a FF with the Stab knob hooked up to the copper plate) and a more recent Vexter FF, and after reading and watching a few demos, I am convinced the early "Aughts" FFs had something more interesting going on. The only reason I sold my old Fuzz Probe was because it was too big and I rarely used the plate so I sold it and got a Vexter and I was really disappointed. It just did not have the same mojo, at all. That Fuzz Probe, when I dialed it in just right, had some very cool unique {censored} going on. The Vexter was much blander. You also have to watch out for buffering and impedance going in cause some buffering will make the Vexter sound like total ass.
Members christianatl
Not really interested in the Vexter, but good lookin' out!
Members erksin
Buffering with screw with any oscillating fuzz, not just the Vexter FWIW.
Members NakedInTheRain
what it really needs is silicon trannies. i've had problems with mine not even oscillating properly because of temperature differences. big turn-off.
Members KoskineN
Really cool fuzz, and I should use mine much more. (ok it is a clone I've built, but still sounds great!)
Members rileykill
I have heard lots of people complain the FF can't be used live. I do not understand these people. Ripping a solo with a FF and watching skin peel is one of life's overlooked pleasures.
Members manymanyhaha
Buffering with screw with any oscillating fuzz, not just the Vexter FWIW. True, good point, but I did not have near the same problem with the Fuzz Probe. I don't know what changed from 2000 to 2008 or 9 that would cause more of a problem with buffering, but something did. Members Blakemore Effects
I had completely fogotten about my Fuzz Factory until yesterday, so timely thread. Hours of fun tweaking! Check out 2:22 of this song. Fuzz Factory and a Green Russian Big Muff. [video=youtube;9kA2JkVdzNE]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kA2JkVdzNE Oh, and side note? I was playing around with pedals yesterday while I was recording, and the Fulltone Soul Bender into a Fuzz Factory may be my new favorite combo for leads. Sounds {censored}ing incredible together. Members iamthearm
i've got a guttermouth clone and i love it. not using it at all right now but still reluctant to let it go. so many crazy noises.
Members V
Buffering with screw with any oscillating fuzz, not just the Vexter FWIW. It depends. I've had good luck with the Silver Apple after a Tubescreamer. I expected it to act up but not so much.

Members Hiwatt Bob
The fuzz probe is more dohp imho--but I agree--the '00 and earlier FF's sound better. [video=youtube;wHbHG8ehxaI]
