I just got a new desk! I will post new pics soon. As for sound treatment I am very lucky. I have not done much and my mixes sound great. The recording area is acousticly dead which is good sometimes and bad during others. I will make my space work until we get our house built (I have plans for the studio in the basment in our house plans).

I should be getting my new desk this weekend!!! Finaly...it was making my studio look bad.....but it does not sound bad:)

I am lucky my wife is a musicain so we work together. She makes more with her gigs that I do with my studio and my gigs combined. In all fairness she does play a more "rare" instrument a concert grand harp.

My version of a home direct recording studio. Doesn't show the PC. Can't go any further than this. My wife is ready to riot. Then she would kill if she saw mine!

Thanks Zoey for the info. True, it is more like a master volume control, but heck all you do is run it through the effects loop and it works great. Heck they are easy to find on ebay and you can get one for around $28.00 so it is at least worth a try. I found that it worked great for me. I will be posting a song soon where we used it with the 5150 on my bands myspace page.

I got an omnisonic and ran it through the effects loop, works great and only cost me about $25. Worked great for my 5150!
