  2. Not as easy as it looks. It takes some practice...just like riding a bike..... I could use a Jamman...
  3. Big Wake Studio , named for a saying of my fathers. He always told us to "Live life to its fullist and leave a Big Wake behind you". Ive tried to do that all my life. I like that line...it beats "try not to get her pregnant".
  4. I have also really been enjoying a patch I call "Cold Shot" for a Stevie Ray sound. I use a strat through the POD into a Marshall Valvestate and get a great tone.
  5. It helps, but it is not perfect (in my studio anyway).
  6. Well I had recently listend to some live work I did without the VL4 then some after using the VL4 for a few months and I found that the VL4 has helped me improve my singing. I think it is a great learning tool.
  7. Fuzzball, I purchased the USB footswitch (5meter usb cable version) http://www.delcom-eng.com/productdet...tnum=803620-5M Works fantasitic straight out of the box. Didn't have to confiqure it at all. Now I can switch slides in PowerPoint with my foot. If you didn't win the Auction, check this one out. With shippint it was about $45.00. I ordered it on Monday at 5pm, and received it Tuesday at 3pm. Hats off to Delcom. Another issue resolved. David Sorry it took me so long...I have been very busy the last couple of weeks. I won the auction and the pedal works great. I have 3/4 of my setlist in powerpoint now....I just need time to finish.
  8. I have considered getting the model packs, but I really want to trade my PODXT for the rack unit.
  9. I have considered getting the model packs, but I really want to trade my PODXT for the rack unit.
  10. I have a setting like a JSX and I love it.
  11. I usualy don't like it in a loop...sorry.
  12. Also would you be intrested in any trades for say...effect pedals?
  13. I'm getting a Pod XT Pro in a week or so. This thread is relative to my interests. It sure is!
  14. Don't know anyone, sorry. Why the change? And are you going to use some sort of MIDI footswitch? But then again, you have the XT, not the XT Live... so maybe you already have a switch? I mostly use my POD for recording and I have rack space for it. I dont have the live, I have the bean and a footswitch. basicly I would rather have the rack unit in order to keep my studio space neat.
  15. I would really like to trade my POD XT up for a POD pro (rack unit). Anyone interested...or know someone?
  16. He's also super knowledgeable and helpful about a variety of equipment and techniques in addition to making good sounding recordings. +1 about fletcher But then again you may think I am a hack too.
  17. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320308542893&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching Been a while since I have seen one of these. Only a little time left.
  18. I have not had much luck with the POD through the effects loop....but the reverbs and delays tend to sound better that way.
  19. The Crate Power Block works very well with the POD. It can be set very flat...making it a great unit to just get the sound of the POD. I still would like to get a Peavey classic 100 to use with the POD...Tube + POD = nice.
  20. I am in Michigan...though Illinois is only a little distance away.
