  1. try the source: https://www.morris-guitar.com/en/about.html
  2. you are probably a couple years late with that offer. Ratson was last here in July of 2020.
  3. yup, much easier to remove material than add it....
  4. Plenty of linked data in this thread...but maybe you could try a query to Kramer? Gibson owns them now, but they may have info that would be of use to you https://www.kramerguitars.com/en-US/ The Pacer was their first 'stock' model in the early 80s, with a Floyd Rose. Your serial # puts your guitar in the 83/84 era. The Imperial Pacer came out in 83...along with the 'hockey stick' head stock. P-ups would still be Schallers then [SDs started ~'85], necks by ESP, bodies bought from Sports Chrome. 5. Back to the original question: I would un-solder all the leads from the pick-up at the pots. Don't cut anything. If you are removing the switch to save weight, you have some rewire work to do...otherwise you have a 'kill-switch'.... Then please pack that pickup in a nice cardboard box, and ship it to me. PM me when it is ready. I will find it a good home. I won't ask it where the 'bad man touched it'.😉
  6. ^ THIS... Tact is valuable when dealing with musicians [and their egos].
  7. Yeah, but Les was still alive when you bought yours.... I bought this when they were $150...and Leo was already dead...https://reverb.com/item/50432496-fender-champ-600-reissue-used
  8. my choices were based on how 'white' the guitar looked, as both 'Chip' and 'It' are predominately white...see?...now had you said 'Cousin It'...no problem...ypu don't really want to know how my mind works...and neither do I
  9. Aria 1932? Is that the SG Copy? If so, yes, very interesting guitar. given the choice between naming it after this: or this: yeah, tough call....
  10. Less than a week? Patience...practice...positivity... Is it your goal to be a classical guitarist? Or are you simply starting with the classical because it looked friendly?😉 I typically steered my students to classical because the visibility to see where your fingers are is much better due to the wider neck/string spacing. Nylon strings are also far more forgiving on un-callused fingertips. focus on chord formation, all the 'cowboy' chords...then try the F and B barre chords. Learn about the language of music, the numerical relationships... We have a forum here called the Lesson Loft...you may find some interesting things in there...
  11. Name it 'Chip'.... Agiles are great intermediate guitars, easily as good as most Epis. Which one was disposed to make room for 'Chip'?
  12. no biggie...buy English muffins and punch a hole in them...
  13. Current inflation is a result of market shortages [like new cars], much of which is due to the pandemic. Demand is the same, supply is short, prices go up, inflation. Housing is a similar process, but almost totally domestic cost fed, and there is ALWAYS a shortage of housing in America*. After 2008, when the housing market went into a tailspin, after a decade of frenzied buying, prices of houses barely dipped, and by 2012, they were moving upward again. Don't blame the Feds ability to print money for this situation. *that said, the cost of housing where people don't really want to live is pretty much stagnant. You can buy a 4bdrm house in Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan, Kansas, etc. for under 200k. You can't buy a 1 bdrm condo in California for that.
  14. I don't think the Japanese manufacturers wanted to claim they built the Bullet line....😉
  15. and bingo...an article comes out...are they monitoring me? https://www.premierguitar.com/pro-advice/vintage-vault/1959-premier-e-723-guitar?goal=0_93db14e670-835dea511a-65603037&mc_cid=835dea511a&mc_eid=7760864719
  16. Since I was the one who pointed you to the Fluorescence, I still think it is the right toy. Joyo is a knock-off brand, so their stuff sounds fine at first, but using cheaper components ruins it...search for Joyo pedal problems, or Joyo pedal switch failures...their switches were notorious for failing.
  17. I think you were right to question the buyer. Has the owner of the credit card contacted you yet? Maybe it would be best to ship it to the cc owners address?
  18. there are other 'scroll' guitars, most notably some made by 'Premier' [aka 'MultiVox'] back in the 50s, from which this Epi takes many of it's design cues; I would not be surprised if former Premier staffers were not working for Epiphone. https://reverb.com/item/44445053-premier-multivox-e-781-1965-first-of-the-scrolls-very-rare-plastic-covered-body-collectible https://www.ebay.com/itm/363650474563?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=363650474563&targetid=1262749490102&device=c&mktype=&googleloc=9031634&poi=&campaignid=15428034462&mkgroupid=133947154481&rlsatarget=pla-1262749490102&abcId=9300763&merchantid=6296724&gclid=Cj0KCQiAjc2QBhDgARIsAMc3SqS4uAf8KcEJYglRrgrCv71c9jl8QWd_54H0EzcFjR-Wm6HKXZsrmc4aAi-IEALw_wcB
