  1. Try these guys: http://www.lazada.com.ph/shop-musical-instruments/marshall/. Here's another possibility: http://www.empire1electronics.weebly.com. BTW, you really should learn to use Google.
  2. Hi and welcome to the Forum. Unfortunately, this thread is nearly two years old and I doubt the OP is still looking for information. Better luck with your next post.
  3. Good of you to reply but the question is a year and a half old. The OP has probably either found the answer or doesn't care any more.
  4. Looking good. As Freeman said, I'm glad to see you've gotten back to it.
  5. See my reply over in Electric Guitars: http://www.harmonycentral.com/forum/forum/guitar/acapella-41/31696656-asahi-electric-guitar-neck.
  6. Me! Me! Pick me! Seriously, considering he can probably get all the info he needs by simply looking inside the guitar (note the visible label in both pics), probably not.
  7. Hi and welcome to the Forum. Find the serial number on your guitar and go here: http://www.ovationtribute.com/Date%20your%20Ovation.html.
  8. Hi and welcome to the Forum but given that this thread is four years old, I doubt the OP still cares.
  9. ^ Yeah, glad to see you haven't given up on it. Keep us posted.
  10. No superior tone, you're simply wrong. You gave no sign of having read the initial post. I know it sucks to be wrong and have it pointed out--I don't like it either--but it's part of life. Which is what I suggested fifteen posts ago, on the first page. And yet, we still don't have a second post from mbengs1 telling us what he wants to do or whether he's paid any attention at all.
  11. It seems some folks aren't comfortable doing that. Personally, I don't mind offering advice. Frankly, sometimes it seems like people hereabouts rarely take advice anyway. Besides, we still don't know what the OP is trying to achieve and probably never will.
  12. I feel ya, brother. Occasionally someone will ask something right out of the manual. Generally it's a product I don't even own but I can find a PDF of the manual and post a quote. I can't help thinking, "If I can do it, why can't the OP?"
  13. Which means what, exactly? Thanks, I'm aware that actual sets exist. d'Addario makes a set as well. In my case, I had a .022 wound phosphor bronze string lying around and decided to assemble a set around it. I made it the 5th string and bought mostly plain strings along with a .030 PB wound for a 6th. The guitar is a beater with cracks in the finish and I rarely play it so the current strings should be good for quite a while.
  14. I don't remember where you are but most music stores sell individual strings. I put together my own acoustic set for Nashville tuning. It would help, though, if we knew what you're trying to do. If you need a "custom" set, there's probably an existing set that will at least come close.
  15. No, St. Louis. I found West Coast through a Web search, same with Rufus'. Just trying to help the OP.
  16. I checked their web site but I only saw Yamaha acoustics. I probably needed to scroll down more. Thanks for the save.
  17. If the OP fancied a road trip, Ted Brown Music in Seattle has the PAC311H, which is the hardtail version of that guitar: http://www.tedbrownmusic.com/p-103518-yamaha-311h-pacifica-series-electric-guitar.aspx. Only 140 mi./ 225 km.
  18. Yes. Out of curiosity, I'm assuming you've checked Rufus' Guitars? Their web site says they carry the Pacifica series: http://rufusguitarshop.com/electric.html#yamaha.
  19. Yamahas are pretty consistent. It's unlikely you'll get a "bad one." Besides, a setup isn't rocket science. The folks here can talk you through it if necessary.
  20. Erm, doesn't a HSS Strat tap the bridge pickup anyway when B+M is selected? So there wouldn't be a difference except with the bridge pickup alone.
