He's on my list of "Name your top 10 musicians ever in music history you would like to play music with". And yes, I'd LOVE to have a Gibson version of Lucille. Members docjeffrey Posted August 7, 2010 Members Share Posted August 7, 2010 I have the R4 that I think is kind of classy. I like the simplicity in the design. No pickup rings, no ABR. Everything you need and nothing you don't. It intonates as good as most guitars with ABR's. But the magnificent ES335 and its derivatives might be the classiest guitar ever because it's players read like a who's who of classy players--BB King topping the list.
