Members bsman
Get up in the mornin slavin for bread sir, so that a every mout can be fedOh my - takes me back! Actually -- that one's sort of a blend; not sure whether it's ska or proto-reggae. One thing, thought; it rules! I remember that song from back in 1969. Had to get the 45 and even though I listened to it over and over and over, I could never figure out the words!
Members Surrealistic
I think at the time DJs thought it was some kinda new fangled calypso.

Members SteveiJobzz
I used to be in a ska band playing drums. I really grew to hate playing it. There's a pretty insane cult following around here in Wisco. We have this crazy thing called.....wait for it....Skappleton in Appleton, WI. There's Something to do: http://www.myspace.com/somethingtodoand my favorite, Catch of the Day: http://www.myspace.com/catchoftheday From around here. They're both pretty good, both very different from conventional ska though. Nobody listens to ska.

Members Gumkick
This is kind of a novelty but also pretty awesome. There were a few attempts at ska by American acts in the sixties but as far as I've been able to tell this is the only one that's really good. Nice tough R&B guitar mixed with the ska, wish there was more like this.

As in the line from the song...."What ever happened to Suburban Rhythm?" I tracked down their disc, but it's been so long since I listened to it, I can't remember what they sounded like:facepalm:
