  1. TV Jones Dynas aren't available..yet. I believe it's wired just like Billy has his own.
  2. Ha...forgot one....mid 90's USA made Peavey Predator AX before and after. Came as a box of parts that where worse than they looked. Plays great now and every sticker on it represents a show I was at or a friend's band.
  3. That's pretty much my whole fleet. `61 Corvette before (with among many other issues, a broken truss rod) after `62 Corvette before: `66 Corvette before: after `65 Astro Jet before: After Got this `65 Corvette last week....it's in the process as I type. Not a whole lot to do though...currenty playable again...pics when it's done.
  4. Some catching up to do.. +2 to cratz2 +2 to Doctor Morbius +1 to surfn748 +1 to brianeharmonjr
  5. His pop and blues are not my cup of tea, but there's no arguing he has talent. As for his persona, it seems to me like he knows exactly what he's doing. Hard to argue with his success.
  6. So now I have an answer for the next time someone asks "Does anyone famous post here?" Yup.
  7. This is great news for 40-year-old guys with guyliner, everywhere. I really like Green Day, but.....BJ really does need to stop with that {censored}...he's starting to remind me more and more of Robert Smith. :shudder:
  8. Do people still watch the Grammys? I think Trent Reznor said it best, "The Grammys = the old guard / old media propping up their puppets trying to convince the outside world (and each other) they're relevant." ding, ding ding!
  9. One pair of factory matched USA made NOS Tung Sol 5881 tubes in a gorgeous box. On ebay. Not sure of year, but think they are early 60's. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120523500747
  10. +1 for acewood. Pedal as described and shipped very quickly.
  11. Ibanez TS-9DX (made in Japan, no box or papers) $70 shipped and paypaled to lower 48 Boss BD-2 Blues Driver (box, no papers) $50 shipped and paypaled to lower 48 Delta Labs Digital Delay (mint in box) $35 shipped and paypaled to lower 48 Delta Labs Rock Distortion (mint in box) $30 shipped and paypaled to lower 48
  12. Squier `51 in sunburst...SOLD Epiphone Junior double cut. I think it's a 1997, but am not 100% sure. I do know they are fairly rare. Nice fat neck, a bit neck heavy on the strap. The P-90 sounds very good and I always seem to launch into some Foxboro Hot Tubs (or Greenday) licks when I pick it up.. The stock wrap around bridge would not intonate (with 10-46 strings), so I fitted it with a Badass bridge. Intonates fine now. Little bit of fret wear, but still probably 95%. Lots of little dings and some rash, but no chips through the paint. Yes, the body is plywood. I hesitate to list this one because it just has "something" about it. But here it is...let's see what happens. $165 plus shipping. Junior gallery Recent Cort strat. No idea what year this is, but think it's from the last five years at most. This one will surprise any strat fan out there. It has all the hallmarks of having been made in the same factory as makes things like the Squier Tele Custom and Tele Custom II, as well as some of the other better Indonesian Squiers I've owned. Solid wood body (what kind of wood is a mystery as I've never taken the neck or pickguard off). Nice vintage style tuners and bridge, the pups are unmistakeably stratty, switches and pots work fine. Set up with 9-42 strings at the moment and stays in tune very well with whammy use. This is just a real cool looking/sounding/playing strat copy. It surpised me, I bet it will surprise you. Notice the pickguard is mint green and the rest of the plsstic is all cream/parchment. I love that look on a black strat. Couple of dings and a bit of rash here and there, but nothing major and nothing through the paint. I've played some SX strats and some GFS strats. This is a better guitar. Quality is closer to the MIJ Fernandes strat I used to have. $150 plus shipping. Cort strat gallery I prefer paypal. Would love to find someone local to me, but shipping is not a problem. Will entertain trades (especially if you are close and we can meet), but would prefer to sell outright.
  13. True Oil. I refinished the guitar below with it and used red dye to tint. It's been a year now and I just love the way it feels and wears. I think I actually might prefer it to nitro. I was able to do all the work inside at my workbench except the final two coats, which I sprayed on using their aerosol bomb. I didn't even need to buff it out afterwards (although your taste may be different).
  14. Oh, and I always like to mention in Predator threads...GFS strat pickguards are a drop on fit. Up to you if you want to drill and add the additional screws, but you'll find all but one of the stock peavey screw holes lines up perfect.
  15. Aren't these guitars worth like 60 bucks? Worth? There's a difference between worth and cost.
  16. Poplar body. Bi-laminate maple neck. I doubt there's a single neck in the entire world that's gone wonky. They're just that stable. Love them, great mod platforms.
  17. +1 forbengerm77. Bought a pedal and it was a smooth, happy experience!
  18. Want: pre-FMC ceramic Filtertrons. Want a bridge pup...perhaps more than one. Prefer chrome, but might make gold work as well. Maybe one neck pup as well. e-mail or PM me: modellurker at yahoo dot com Thanks!
  19. Good seller, maltomario. Great deal on a set of burstbucker pros, exactly as described and shipped lightning fast. Thanks!
