Members metallica_00 Posted May 21, 2011 Members Share Posted May 21, 2011 In my mind the 335 really excels as a blues and rock guitar, not really a true jazz guitar at all, but it comes closer to copping those sounds than a solidbody at least. To my ears the jazz sound is really that dry, clear almost semi-acoustic archtop tone, but to each his own. This is a Heritage H535, not a Gibson.
