Members danswon
A recent post of Jimmy Page playing some 80s strat got me thinking - are there any other examples? I swear i've never seen a picture of either Tony Iommi or Angus Young with anything other than an SG has EVH ever been seen playing a Gibson? old blues guys picking up something more outlandish as they aged ungracefully into the 80s? would lkove to see lots more rare pics like this if people have them
Members jtr654
Tony Played a Strat for a while early on IN BS. Eddie has a LP and a Explorer. Buddy Guy playing a ESP neck Thru Super Strat and a Guild Nightbird in the 80's/90's.
Members tiltsta
There are like a million of these pics of guitar players using guitars that are not the guitar they are typically associated with.

Members theminpoes
Matt Bellamy's guitar is a psychopath. Also Jack White uses a weird Airline guitar with the White Stripes.

Members Steadfastly
I'm not a strat lover and don't own one but the white strat (I know it's an Ibanez) but it's still a strat is one that I could own if the neck was a little wider. Members sammyreynolds01
Todd Rundgren playing a Veleno Ankh guitar, make the horn longer and the headstock pointer and you have prince's symbol guitar.

Members Steadfastly
Wider? Uh.. If you saw my hands, you would realize why it needs to be wider. I simply can't play a 1 5/8" neck, a 1 11/16" is just about as bad, a 1 3/4" is getting there but a 1 7/8" or 1 15/16" is just about right. Members o.versteer
Interesting. Horrible 80's delay on the vocals, but Gilmour sounds exactly the same as he always does :-) I'm not really a Floyd fan (although I like it well enough), but Comfortably Numb is just epic.
