Members blue2blue
I love that letter. I'm not a big fan of Albini's actual work (OK, I have that first Big Black album and it's a lot of fun in a terrible sounding way.) But I love that letter. Members UstadKhanAli
I love this letter.I really like some of Albini's recordings and some others, not so much. Sounds like he feels the same way!!! If I wanted someone to record one of my bands and could get anyone I wanted, this guy would be in the top tier. Members Ronan Murphy
It is interesting to note that despite the letter the band had the singles re-mixed by Scott Litt and then years later had the whole album remixed.

Phil O'Keefe
As John Paterno once said, "you make the record when you hit record." If you've got great players and enough time with them that you can rehearse something and then lay it down as a band, it's so much easier (and usually better) than trying to piecemeal it together in post.
