Members mdog114
That's nice. Tell me about it.EG It's a Hofner Jazzica. Solid carved-top, floating PU and a nice build quality.
Members Jkater
How about the actual Ken Parker archtops as opposed to the Washburn Parker guitars? Don't look at the price, it will hurt. But they're interesting to look at! ...lost for words.

Members meandi
My home brew, built from Benedetto's plans.I wanted a vintage looking finish for it, inspired by my 100+ yr old violin that my mom played when she was in school. Members xStonr
My pickup switcheroo is finally completed after 2 weeks of procrastination. Took the VintageVibe P90's out and put them in my SG. Took the Classic57/57+ from the SG and now they're in the AS73before:after:
Members meandi
That thing looks great Meandi! Thanks. The spruce top didn't take the stain as evenly as I thought it would. Thus, the variations in color are random & were beyond my controll...but I can live with the way it looks.I'm real happy with the way it plays, I'm starting to get the hang of how to build a good playing neck.It has very good sound projection with balanced evenly matched tone from bass to treble. All in all, quite happy with it for my first acoustic build. Members lonerstoenr
Like this one? EG Just like that one. Except maybe just the neck pickup model.

Members xStonr
Gorgeous. How's it sound?EG The P90's have some snarl to them which is why I put them in my SG. The classics are just so sweet. They are perfect in the AS73.

Members lonerstoenr
Oops, that's the acoustic. This one? EG Yes, that one. Although the acoustic intrigues me.
Members meandi
You always do nice work. Any idea how many hours in that one? EG I worked on it pretty much non-stop for over 6 months. But, that's kinda mis-leading, in that I built a complete set of jigs & fixtures for the build, plus a lot of head scratching, along with the actual guitar construction. Actual time in the guitar...200 hrs probably.
Members meandi
200? Not as bad as I thought. The next one will be half of that, right? :poke:EG I don't think I could cut the time in half. Actually, the next one is in the works now, although it's on hold while I get my paint booth built & finish Great Dane's blacktop project.I'm building it with a pedestal mounted neck, inspired by the Ken Parker archtops, vs the traditional dovetail neck mount, & I'm back to the head scratchin & fixture building for it...so who knows how many hours it'll take.If you're interested, I've got a thread started on it, with a link in my sig, where I outline my concept for it & some of the build problems it's presenting. Members meandi
Which link? Man, those Ken Parkers are unbelievable. How tough is that gonna be?EG Archtop #2, maple & Brazilian ebony.Since I'm a rookie builder, with it being only my second acoustic build, I'm not attempting to do the adjustable neck feature...just using it as a visual concept inspiration. So far it's proving to be a worthy challenge! Members mishek_zim
How's this? Looks hollow to me. EG Thank you Sir. I have never played one, but I think I would Like one just like that. If It sounded lousy, I could still spend time looking at it. . . . I need about $2499 more before going shopping tho. . . Members Selsaral
Love the sound of a nice Ric. Saw Petty with one last year and it sounded terrific. More than I care to spend right now but it still makes good porn. EG You mean Mike Campbell? I was watching some youtube clips and he was just tearing it to pieces on a Ric of some kind. He shakes the entire neck to get his crazy vibrato. Huge, unpossible sustain.
