The new rig is Fender tele => golden cello => Marshall Class 5 / Jet City 1x12 with Emminence speaker. It's that simple ... and I can't believe the tone. Never owned a Marshall ... but this little 5 watt is simply killer. Add the Mad Professor Golden Cello and it just sings like bird. The volume and tone controls on the tele add all the flexibility I could ask for. It comes about as close to the sound in my head I have ever gotten. I'm sort of delirious. It's a mongrel 80s MIJ neck, Red Dirt Guitar Works pine body ... not sure if it was relic'd or if the previous owner played the crap out it... It's light as a feather and sounds great ..
