Wow - that logic is as awesome as your english. Not born here equals sponging off the government. I imagine you'll vote for Romney if he runs again when you're old enough to vote.

^wow

anyway...
I agree with you HIC. The people who complain about that {censored} will be the same people selling them a couple of weeks later for just a few bucks under full retail. I find it seems to be more about the deal for those types than the actual product they are buying.

I've only paid $20,000+ in taxes this year. I'm sorry that I'm putting such a strain on the welfare system.
That $20K is probably going straight to Johnny's parents.

Culturally and in more recent times, there is a large sense of self entitlement and lack of personal accountability. Interestingly, the media loves to make organizations or government responsible and accountable for peoples personal failures, tragedy's or mistakes. This, in turn, only worsens and perpetuates the matter.

you suck, I'm so hungry... j/k biggrin.gif

Like the OP, I also am not much of a haggler. If something isn't priced right for me I simply don't buy. How hard is is to give your best price in the first place? I know, I'm naive.

According to certain others, the entitled should be allowed to bitch about it, but you're not entitled to bitch about their bitching. Thus, threads can be started bemoaning the pitfalls of navigating the price match waters, but don't you dare respond in a divergent manner. It's purely a 1-way street. How that is considered fair by the certain few is beyond me.

First off, I completely understand if you like money. I like money, too. But what's with the rash of grown adults feeling like they're entitled to buy something at some insane price and then feeling personally betrayed because they couldn't do so? I mean, seriously, really? Talk about sounding like a spoiled brat on Christmas.

I guess I hardly ever haggle because I feel like I don't necessarily deserve money more than other people do, and it's good customers like me that give these entitled brats the margin they're working with...

But really, people who bitch about someone not honoring a 180% price match on a typo on somebody's website... I'm sorry, but that's a bitch move. You're allowed to be upset, but only 13 year olds are allowed to feel actually upset over something like that for more than 30 minutes. If I ran a retailer and someone called me feeling entitled to such a deal, I would just laugh them off the phone. Unfortunately, I don't run retailers but I mean, shit, people bend over backwards to even talk to these hagglers in the first place, please don't feel entitled.

I didn't see anyone here bitch about it, so I can name this specific deal but Sweetwater was closing out the Vox Night Train heads for $249 a pop. These things were going for $400+ new everywhere, and Vox had a $100 rebate going. So naturally, they didn't honor the rebates for those who bought it for $249, and now there are buyers saying shit like, "I'M NEVER BUYING A VOX PRODUCT AGAIN," ignoring that in the big picture, they bought a fucking Night Train for $249, which is a fucking good deal, and in what universe is a new Night Train worth $149, anyway? That's cheaper than a new Lil Night Train. Anyway, fucking entitled brats. Hate people like that.

Sorry, had to vent.
