Members In Absentia
Which players toanz do you dig? My absolute favorite tones are from Colin Edwin from Porcupine Tree (especially, from the earlier albums). He was using a Trace Elliott AH350 amplifier and speaker cabinets, and a Wal Mach I Fretless on the earlier stuff. Switched to a Tech 21 Amp after that and a Bongo fretted. Now he uses a EBS TD-650 and EBS Cabs with a Spector Euro 4 LX. He recorded "In Absentia" with an Ampeg V4B through a matching 8x10 and an undisclosed bass. Members rpsands
For the record, my tone is frigging amazing. The Iamp was definitely the missing piece of my tone puzzle.

Members In Absentia
IIRC it's an SVT and a tbird. What's so about that? I don't like the guy's tone. Setting aside his MM days, his tone on APC's 13 steps was terrible.
