Members Chicken Monkey
Thats about the best thing we have come up w as well.Porter & Townsend Honestly, that's a nice-sounding name. Go with it. Most of your audience will be people you know, and this way they'll never have to remember the band name when they're reading the entertainment section of the local rag. Either way works in this case. There are times when one name just doesn't sound right after the other though.

Members WGH
"Two Horse Trailer" "Plug Tobacco" "Chicken Dinner" "Nickel Cigar" I thought "Biscuits & Gravy" would work but it's already taken. Just in case you wanted something different. I think "Porter & Townsend" sounds good too.

You've got a couple of great sounding names that have tradition along the same lines as your music style.
