Members philboking Posted December 8, 2016 Members Posted December 8, 2016 Inspired me to write a lot of music, and to reach beyond what was easy.
Members AlamoJoe Posted December 9, 2016 Members Posted December 9, 2016 Been a lot of musical casualties this year...This makes me sad...
Members Anderton Posted December 9, 2016 Members Posted December 9, 2016 Energy can be neither created nor destroyed...worth remembering at times like this.
Members rjt Posted December 9, 2016 Members Posted December 9, 2016 ELP was the reason I got into music. Always thought Greg added that "something" that balanced the band. He will be missed.
Members Anderton Posted December 9, 2016 Members Posted December 9, 2016 Always thought Greg added that "something" that balanced the band. He will be missed. Although this has nothing to do with his death, that's a really good point and I hadn't thought about it in those terms. You had Keith the madman, Carl the spectacular but rock steady, and Greg gluing it together.
Members Notes_Norton Posted December 9, 2016 Members Posted December 9, 2016 I first 'discovered' Greg with King Crimson and his work with them, ELP and solo has always been first class. Thanks for the voice, bass and guitar contributions that my ears tickle. Notes
Members Chris Loeffler Posted December 9, 2016 Members Posted December 9, 2016 From the Beginning was one of the first songs I could actually pull off and impress with.
