I went to a skate park the other day. not many here in mississippi.

It was also indoors so shooting past 1600 on my d300 is a bit of a "luck" factor, due to the large aperture and getting low dof + shutter speed = disaster for indoors.

It took me a second to figure out exactly what I was looking at, then i saw the other side of the halfpipe. Cool shot

Yeah, it was some sick stuff. First time to see any of that kind of caliber in person. Being on top of the half pipe was a bit intimidating. I do not understand how they do it, and it was even harder to capture it. I had no idea what i was doing. Out of like 300 shots maybe 15 came out. And i'm not even happy with those. I threw them all black and white and up'd the contrast and black to help nerf the blurs.

Do you skate?

The reason I ask is that usually when non-skate photogs capture skating it looks off to those used to skate photos, but this looks great.
