Members Zetor
These cost two hundred euros less than the AVRI models at Thomann. http://www.thomann.de/fi/fender_johnny_marr_jaguar_ow.htm vs. http://www.thomann.de/fi/fender_62_jaguar_rw_3tsb.htm I wish I could play one, but then again I neither need a new guitar nor can afford to buy a Marr model. Members ambientnoize
i was going to suggest, obviously the neck/body configurations aren't possible, but surely a lot of the electronics/pickups/bridge/setup is possible to replace on a standard jag? I guess you'd be running close to the retail price on the johnny marr signatures, though..
Members Ferdinandstrat
You know why I like Jags? Cos when you hold it and play it, it looks like a classic car, that's why, a classic car from the 50's or 60's and what would be more awesome than playing a classic car? Members seifukusha
It's $1,749 in the UShttp://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/JagJMOW Thats a good price. Im seeing these going to 1200 or so in the US..I have a feeling they wont sell as much as Fender hopes.I like the feel of this...hmmm
Members BartDude
If the faded CAR has binding and blocks on the neck, I'll be surprised. If it has a matching headstock AND binding and blocks, I'd be tempted to sell a kidney for one, shave the neck down a bit if it's too fat, and call it done. Dibs on your right kidney. Members mirrorball
Looks like Ed O'Brien has already added it to his collection: http://www.fender.com/blog/radiohead-kicks-off-world-tour-in-miami/ “It feels awesome, and then plugging in, it’s got a totally unique tone, very different from any other Fender,” noted O’Brien. “Personally it isn’t like anything I’ve got … Sonically maybe nearest to my Rick at times. I love it man!”
